Marketing Communications Officer

This 6-month contract role offers the potential for extension and a competitive pay rate of $45 – $55 per hour + super, depending on your experience.

About the Opportunity

Talent International invites you to join a leading NSW Government agency as a Marketing Communications Officer. This dynamic position is key to driving impactful communications that connect the community and employees with the agency's vital programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and measure marketing campaigns across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels.
  • Manage website content using Content Management Systems.
  • Build and send email campaigns using marketing software.
  • Coordinate campaign delivery, including managing schedules, briefs, and creative assets.
  • Create engaging content such as articles, posters, and social media assets using tools like Canva and Photoshop.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on innovative digital marketing initiatives.
  • Enhance digital channels to effectively showcase programs and initiatives.
  • Participate in project teams and provide valuable input.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualifications: Tertiary degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Experience: Proven track record in executing marketing strategies and delivering integrated campaigns under strict timeframes and budgets.
  • Digital Expertise: Familiarity with Content Management Systems, email marketing tools, and basic design tools like Photoshop and Canva.
  • Creativity: Ability to create compelling marketing materials and think outside the box to drive engagement.
  • Project Management: Strong skills in managing campaigns and delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Collaboration: Exceptional relationship-building skills to work effectively with stakeholders and partners.
