Job Title: Central Operations Project Lead

Project Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned project lead to join our Central Operations Group in a pivotal time of optimisation and growth. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract and will be reporting to the Head of Retail Operations, working with some of our most dynamic retail projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Retail Teams with operational policy and procedure support, ensuring all communication is correct, consistent, and accessible.
  • Identify and lead Retail projects on time and within scope.
  • Develop, review, and implement operational policies and procedures that improve efficiencies, establish best practice, and reduce costs.
  • Determine the scope and direction of a project.
  • Offer support to project members and facilitate day-to-day coordination of operational activities relating to projects.
  • Ensure effective task management.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience within a similar role.
  • Strong project management skills, including elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications in retail, operational, or service-related industries.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Working knowledge of POS & Time Attendance systems.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, from initial justification through implementation and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of Change Management methodologies and tools.
  • Proven organisational skills with analytical ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand business processes, offer creative solutions to problems, and maintain a point of view while supporting the ideas of others.
  • Ability to lead projects to completion.
  • Proficient in MS Office products, with strong written and communication skills.
  • An open mindset for new ways of working, ability to adapt, being curious, challenge status quo, focus delivery on value, and prioritisation.
