Game Server Developer Job Description

Our team is looking for a skilled Game Server Developer to create efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions in C# and .NET. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Unity, cloud hosting, and deployment, preferably on AWS.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing scalable and high-performance server solutions using C# and .NET.
  • Collaborating with Unity experts to debug and enhance Unity integration with the server.
  • Working with hosting/infrastructure experts to develop and maintain solutions for deploying and updating the servers.
  • Cooperating with PHP experts to develop API and reporting solutions to support the multiplayer servers.

The requirements for this position are:

  • Over 2 years of experience working with C# and .NET in a relevant multiplayer project.
  • Understanding of supporting technologies such as socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
  • Experience working in a gaming environment and preferably developed solutions in Unity.
  • Experience with cloud hosting and deployment, preferably on AWS.
  • Knowledge of source control (preferable GIT) and JIRA.

Additionally, we're looking for someone with great work ethics, problem-solving attitude, and exceptional English written and verbal skills. The ideal candidate should be confident in communicating ideas, solutions, and issues in a fast-paced team environment and be open-minded towards researching and implementing new technologies.
