Engineering Production Lead

**Key Requirements for the Role:**

This position involves providing leadership to a production area, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Engineering or Manufacturing Processes, as well as a Certificate IV in Frontline Management. They will also possess a Forklift license and have previous experience in a leadership role within an engineering/manufacturing workshop.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have evidence of performing welding, grinding, drilling, and press operations. They will be able to manage labor resources effectively, prioritize tasks, and ensure the smooth operation of the production area.

**Responsibilities Include:**

  • Managing labor resources to produce a quality product in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner
  • Implementing standardized work practices within the area of control and assisting with updating work instructions
  • Being actively involved in improvement initiatives and communicating feedback on implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Ensuring administration documents are completed for the workgroup and maintaining learning and mandatory training records
