About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Property Assessor to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a Senior Property Assessor, you will be responsible for maintaining timely delivery of property claims outcomes that meet or exceed customer expectations throughout the life of a claim.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with claimants, repairers, and other internal/external stakeholders to drive timely decision making and life of claim outcomes.
  • Assess indemnity, liability of claims, costs, and the validity of building and remediation scope of works.
  • Review building and remediation cause of damage reports, including geotechnical and structural engineering reports.
  • Identify defects and non-compliance repairs utilising Australian Standards and National Construction Code.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have building trade qualifications and/or loss assessor qualification through ANZIIF, extensive property assessing and customer service experience, comprehensive technical knowledge of theories and practices of Insurance and loss, and ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks, and manage competing resources and demands.
