About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Educator to join our team at Goodstart Bayview Heights. As a Senior Educator, you will be responsible for leading a team of Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs and ensuring the highest quality care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Educators to deliver educational programs and ensure the highest quality care and education for our children.
  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices.
  • Ensure the safety and inclusivity of all children, and tailor learning experiences to meet their individual needs.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture, and foster a sense of belonging among staff and children.
About Goodstart Bayview Heights

Our centre is a beautiful and spacious facility that accommodates 75 children daily across five distinct rooms. We have a dedicated Kindergarten yard, abundant shade, and a variety of loose parts for creative play. Our centre is conveniently located near two shopping centres and a local primary school, offering flexible working arrangements to promote staff work-life balance.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
