Job Summary:

We seek a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to coordinate design, procurement and construction elements of the Material Handling Package on Project Ceres in Karratha. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be accountable for performance and delivery of engineering services to support project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality engineering services that meet project requirements and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with technically acceptable standards of work for the discipline group and produce engineering design deliverables for project execution.
  • Delegate tasks as necessary while working within the framework and policies of the organization.
  • Manage and coordinate the design effort of team reports to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
  • Work with Technical Specialists to ensure specification compliance and technical integrity of design.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of systems across the division.
  • Manage customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-graduate engineering experience in engineering/construction environments.
  • Good knowledge and exposure in determining site layouts, reviewing geotechnical reports, civil drawings, and 3D models, determining loads, and load combinations.
  • Possess the ability to integrate into a project team at any point during its lifecycle, work unsupervised, and possess general computer literacy skills.
