Backend Software Engineer Job

Our team is expanding, and we're looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering community.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable backend features within our existing service architecture. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end experiences that have real user impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing backend features using Java in a production environment
  • Building and maintaining services that power user experiences and internal systems at scale
  • Writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code with guidance from more experienced engineers
  • Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to understand problems and ship high-quality solutions

Requirements:

  • Experience in building backend systems using Java in a production environment
  • Strong Java fundamentals and ability to confidently write production-grade code
  • Understanding of distributed systems and comfort with developing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Ability to work through problems from design to deployment with support from your team
