About the Role

The Event Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a multifaceted venue, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a motivational leader and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the venue, including opening and closing procedures, back-of-house administration, recruiting and rostering staff, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to grow the business and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build relationships with regulars and provide personalized service.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Proven experience in managing or assisting in the management of a multifaceted venue, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to use financial acumen and operational expertise to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Able to obtain industry licenses and accreditation, such as gaming license, RSA/RSG/RCG, and wagering accreditation.
