Job Overview

We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our team as a Return to Work Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently while being supported by a close-knit team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Manage caseloads efficiently, leveraging the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to minimize administrative tasks.
  • Clinical Expertise: Apply your clinical knowledge to enhance return to work outcomes for clients.
  • Injury Prevention and Education: Collaborate with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention programs and workplace education initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with injured workers, medical professionals, and allied health experts to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Assessments: Conduct various assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments, utilizing your clinical and discipline-specific skills.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Possess tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, or Physiotherapy.
  • Registration/Accreditation: Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or accredited with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, employers, and colleagues.
  • Time Management: Exhibit excellent time management skills, balancing autonomy with teamwork.
  • Problem-Solving: Show confidence in problem-solving and a willingness to innovate, use initiative, and achieve results.
  • PASSION FOR INJURY PREVENTION: Share a passion for injury prevention, return to work, and associated health benefits.
  • Drive and Energy: Display energy and drive to grow our services and contribute to the company's success.
  • Transportation: Possess a current driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel.
Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges between $70,000-$90,000 AUD, depending on experience and location.
