Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team. As a key member of our health and wellness department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Exercise Physiologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will have the autonomy to manage your caseload and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to patients.

You will be responsible for conducting functional capacity evaluations, worksite assessments, ergonomic assessments, and activities of daily living assessments. Additionally, you will develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs, working closely with employers and employees to promote healthy work practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' physical abilities and limitations;
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve return-to-work outcomes;
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers, and employees to design and deliver workplace education programs;
  • Provide guidance on ergonomic assessments and recommendations to optimize workplace safety;
  • Participate in case management and contribute to the development of strategies to prevent workplace injuries;
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, or Physiotherapy;
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, employers, and colleagues;
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives;
  • Possess a current driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between sites;

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
