Team Leader - Calvary Aged Care
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the RoleThe Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of high-quality care to residents at all times. This includes supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care across the home, while actively addressing the individual needs, wishes, and goals of each resident.
This is an exceptional opportunity for dedicated professionals to take the next step in their career. The position is open to Endorsed Enrolled Nurses or Personal Care Workers with relevant qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emotional support to residents, focusing on holistic and person-centered care.
- Support the coordination of care needs across the home, including medication management, nutrition, and pressure care.
- Lead and supervise care on shifts, within designated wings or areas.
- Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with qualification scope, state legislation, and Calvary policies.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (APRHA Registration) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines).
- A commitment to integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to understand and utilize information technology.
- A current National Police Check.
- Familiarity with WH&S and Infection Control principles.
