As a Marine Technician Submariner - Propulsion, you will be responsible for operating, diagnosing, and maintaining propulsion systems onboard submarines and ashore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and auxiliary systems onboard submarines and ashore.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot propulsion system issues to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to ensure propulsion systems remain mission capable.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of engineers and technicians to achieve common goals.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade or technical qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Fixed Mobile and Plant Mechanic or higher).
  • Experience in mechanical or engineering maintenance and repair.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
