We are seeking a skilled Porter to provide exceptional guest experiences at Reef View Hotel, Hamilton Island's leading 4-star hotel. This role plays a vital part in creating lasting impressions on our valued guests.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Efficiently handle guest luggage, maintaining a secure and organized environment
  • Transfer luggage to and from the Porters storeroom and guest rooms, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of all guest transport vehicles, adhering to high standards of quality
  • Stay informed about daily activities, special events, and VIP arrivals, providing exceptional service to our guests

About You

  • Hold a valid QLD manual driver's license
  • Be eligible to obtain a Restricted Driver Authority, with a minimum of 3 years of continuous driving experience
  • Have 6-12 months of experience in a Porter position at a 4-5 star hotel or resort
  • Exhibit impeccable presentation and communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Be self-motivated, with a good work ethic and a willingness to exceed guest expectations
  • Be flexible to work rostered shifts, including weekends
