We have a great opportunity for a service driven individual to supervise the work of a team of field service technicians and ensure product support provided to customers represents outstanding value.

">Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a team of field service technicians, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include attending to customer enquiries, determining scope of work and providing upfront estimates, establishing timelines for required services or repairs, and keeping customers informed of costs, status and any changes to work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend to customer enquiries, phone calls and walk-ins;
  • Determine scope of work and provide customer with an up-front estimate;
  • Establish time line for required service / repairs;
  • Keep the customer informed of the costs, status and any changes to the work;
  • Allocate tasks to technicians to maximise labour resources;
  • Ensure team members have clear direction on all daily activities;
  • Manage work orders and timesheets;
  • Assist with the ordering of parts and tools for each job;
  • Monitor compliance to SHEQ requirements;
  • Monitor warranty work to ensure repairs are carried out to Caterpillar guidelines;
  • Provide technical assistance and diagnostic expertise as required to ensure jobs are finished in a timely manner.


Requirements:

Leadership qualification or experience leading a small team;

Effective communication skills both written and verbal;

Sound influencing and negotiating skills;

Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships;

Accurate with a high attention to detail;

Current driver's licence;

Familiarity with CAT and dealer systems an advantage.
