The RoleWe are seeking a clinical psychologist to join our team in Toowoomba. As a clinical psychologist, you will be responsible for planning and delivering interventions to a wide range of clients across the lifespan. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide evidence-based psychological assessment and strategies to adults, youth, and children over 7 years of age.
Main Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and strategies to adults, youth, and children over 7 years of age in a private practice setting.
- Provide telehealth sessions as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic case notes and client records.
- Write reports, including progress summary and discharge reports, assessment findings reports, functional assessment reports, and NDIS review reports.
- Participate in case conferences and supervision/mentoring, where applicable.
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively with therapy and administration team.
- AHPRA Registered as General Psychologist with Clinical Endorsement.
- Tertiary Masters degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent).
- Independently meets CPD requirements set by AHPRA.
- Minimum 12 months private practice experience.
- Registered Medicare Provider (or eligible for full registration).
- Criminal History and Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker screening clearance.
- NDIS Worker orientation module completion certificate (or willing to obtain).
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Willingness to comply with Queensland Health guidelines and Public Health orders.
- ABN (contractors only).
- Above award remuneration for employees; industry competitive rate for contractors.
- Flexibility over days and hours. Full-time and Part-time appointments available.
- Employees receive 4 weeks annual leave (inclusive of Christmas/New Year seasonal office closure) plus additional leave entitlements that may include: sick leave, carers leave, long service leave, leave without pay.
