Job Overview
The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics to support the development of the MQ28 program at RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland. This position will be responsible for the maintenance, modification, servicing, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, associated components, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance activities on aircraft systems, components, and equipment in accordance with approved maintenance data and instructions.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve defects and imperfections.
- Apply trade qualifications and experience to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of aviation quality assurance procedures, maintenance/modification procedures, and AMD/ICA documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months experience as a fully qualified maintainer.
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills Avionics qualification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Dept of Defence security clearance at the required level for the role.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the security requirements for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARS) clearance.
- Ensuring compliance to 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
- Ability to read, interpret, speak, and write fluently in English.
- Demonstrated computer and related technology literacy.
- Demonstrate competence to seek and hold delegated authorities under the DASR 145 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aviation quality assurance procedures, maintenance/modification procedures, and AMD/ICA documentation.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in a Defence Military Aerospace environment.
- Valid DASR Category B2 MAML.
- Prior supervisory or leadership development training and/or experience.
Eligibility
