Our Centre is conveniently located at Star of the Sea Primary School, and we provide care for up to 75 children from 6 weeks and 6 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
  • Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Participate in professional and personal development.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy.
Requirements:
  • Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards) OR ACECQA Equivalent
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the child care industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
  • A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months - Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment
  • Effective workplace communication skills
