Veterinary ECC Care Specialist

This internship provides an exceptional opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians in a busy, well-equipped hospital. As an Emergency Medicine Intern, you will:
- Assist with emergency cases and critical care management
- Work as a primary clinician under supervision
- Participate in diagnostics, treatment planning, and post-operative care
- Work a flexible roster that includes evenings/nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Engage in structured learning including journal club, tutorials, and case presentations
- Receive one-on-one mentoring and support from specialists and senior clinicians
The successful applicant will have:
- A veterinary degree (DVM, BVSc or equivalent) recognised in Australia
- Eligibility for registration with the relevant veterinary board
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment
- A proactive approach to patient care
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth
