Cardiac Sonography Specialist

This is a senior-level position within our Diagnostic Imaging Department, requiring strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support sonographers. The successful candidate will oversee the quality improvement process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for new hires and existing staff
  • Evaluate sonographer performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
  • Maintain high-quality patient care by adhering to established protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer with a proven track record of success in quality improvement initiatives
  • Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program
  • Current RDCS, RDMS or RCS certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues and patients
