**About the Role

Yamagen, a renowned restaurant, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef De Partie to join its dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in sushi training and/or Japanese kitchen (tempura) experience, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, culinary excellence, and creativity.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing their specific kitchen station, ensuring seamless preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes. Upholding strict hygiene and food safety standards is essential, as well as maintaining effective communication with kitchen staff to guarantee smooth operations and a harmonious work environment.

Key responsibilities include preparing sauces, soups, and hot dishes for service and special functions, demonstrating superior recipe knowledge, and monitoring food storage facilities to ensure proper storage techniques and cleanliness standards are met.

Additionally, the candidate will be expected to requisition the appropriate amount of food product according to established Hotel policies and procedures, maintain an acceptable degree of knowledge regarding food product, and comply with all operational policies and procedures.
