Culinary Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Expert to join our kitchen team in Southbank Melbourne. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, presentation, and overall kitchen operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, presentation, and plating.\
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless kitchen operations.\
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen.\
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to source quality ingredients.\
  • Continuously improve cooking techniques, recipes, and presentation styles to enhance the dining experience.\

Requirements:

  • \
  • 3+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role.\
  • Strong understanding of culinary principles, menu planning, and kitchen management.\
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.\
  • Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts an asset.\
