We are seeking a skilled Hairstylist to join our team.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that requires at least 3 years of experience and relevant training in hairstyling techniques. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Hairstylist Licence
  • Experience in blow drying, hair braiding, iron waving/curling, permanents, and roller setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Book appointments and manage client schedules
  • Shampoo customers' hair and provide styling services
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties and maintain supplies

Requirements:

  • Hairstylist Licence
  • At least 3 years of experience in hairstyling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a busy salon/studio environment, with regular hours and opportunities for overtime. The work involves standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
