Women's Case Manager

We are seeking a passionate and values-driven professional to join our team as a Women's Case Manager. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with women who have experienced domestic and family violence, providing them with the support and guidance they need to reclaim their safety, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower women through connection: Build meaningful relationships that centre their voices and foster self-determination, trust, and active participation.
  • Provide trauma-informed care: Deliver high-quality case management using best practice standards, always grounded in empathy and professionalism.
  • Respond with insight: Carry out thoughtful assessments to understand each woman's unique needs, risks, and strengths.
  • Collaborate for change: Partner with women to develop tailored case plans that support their individual goals and healing journeys.
  • Walk beside, not ahead: Ensure women remain actively engaged in every step of their case plan, fostering agency and genuine participation.
  • Break down barriers: Help women navigate and access essential services, while advocating strongly on their behalf when systems or structures fall short.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a social service environment, specifically Family and Domestic Violence.
  • Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development, or related field OR demonstrated high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service, and study/development.
  • A national police record check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Participation in rotating on-call roster.
  • Attendance at sector interagency meetings and working groups.
