We are seeking experienced community members to join the Major Events, Festivals and Films Sponsorship Panel at Wagga Wagga City Council. As a volunteer panel member, you will play a crucial role in selecting applications for sponsorship funding.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the role of the sponsorship panel and be able to assess applications based on eligibility criteria. You should also have demonstrated involvement with community networks and/or events, and reside within the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area.

The successful applicant will be required to attend meetings, assess applications, and make recommendations for sponsorship funding. This is a voluntary non-remunerated position, and we are seeking three individuals to fill this role.

Wagga Wagga City Council is an inclusive employer that values diversity and welcomes applications from skilled people from all walks of life.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assess applications for sponsorship funding based on eligibility criteria
  • Recommend eligible applications for council endorsement
