We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Resort Manager to become a vital part of our operations in a stunning tropical setting. This role offers a unique 'hands-on' opportunity for a professional with a solid background in Rooms management and a strong ability to engage with and serve guests. In this position, you will have the chance for career advancement through increased responsibilities, professional development initiatives, and leadership roles within the company.

Key Responsibilities

To excel in this position, you will need:

A strong focus on Customer Experience, with a dedication to crafting personalized and memorable holiday experiences for our Club Wyndham owners and guests through meaningful interactions. Proven expertise in managing Food & Beverage operations, ideally within a resort or upscale hospitality setting. Awareness of current F&B trends and best practices. Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a committed team to deliver an exceptional Customer Experience in a resort environment. Comprehensive operational knowledge across all hotel departments, particularly in rooms divisions. The ability to cultivate strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. A keen eye for detail coupled with analytical skills. Capability to assist in budget development and make informed decisions to ensure efficient hotel operations. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. An open-door approach with the ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members.

Club Wyndham Airlie Beach offers a laid-back, tropical atmosphere, complemented by warm sea breezes and stunning ocean views. Recognized as the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands, Airlie Beach serves as an ideal base for guests to explore the breathtaking marine environments, idyllic islands, and lush rainforests the region has to offer. The resort features 105 apartments and a variety of on-site amenities, including a large outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and an alfresco dining venue that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with a bar. The resort is also equipped to host conferences and events, providing versatile spaces suitable for meetings, weddings, and other special occasions.
