About the Role

Bayside Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our urban development consultancy, you will be responsible for managing client and council relationships, while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and expertise in urban development, water management, and infrastructure projects.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, councils, and internal design teams.
  3. Project Management: Manage commercial risks, exercise sound judgment, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to deliver projects and contribute to the growth and development of the company.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  2. Experience: 4+ years of civil engineering experience, with a strong understanding of earthworks, subdivisions, drainage, and urban development.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in software such as 12D and AutoCAD, excellent communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of local standards and systems.
  4. Accreditation: Advantageous to hold a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) / National Engineer Register (NER) accreditation.
