Leadership Opportunity


We are seeking a qualified Director to join our team at Altona North campus.


The successful candidate will manage the operations of the campus with a focus on five key pillars: People, Quality, Growth, Safety and Financial Performance.


This is an exciting opportunity for a strong ECT or Diploma-qualified Director to take the next step in their leadership journey.


About the Role

The Centre Director role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the campus, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care services.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for early childhood education.


  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and meet regulatory requirements
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and staff development
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient operation of the campus
  • Collaborate with the OAC network to share best practices and achieve organizational goals

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:


  • Overall management of the centre, including operational planning and decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Leadership and Development:


  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Community Engagement:


  • Build relationships with local communities, families, and stakeholders
  • Promote the centre's services and programs to attract new families
  • Participate in local events and activities to raise awareness about early childhood education
