Hydraulic Technician Job Description

At Motion Asia Pacific, we are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the repair and overhaul of hydraulic components, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and overhaul of hydraulic components in our workshop and on-site
  • Conduct thorough inspections and report on equipment condition
  • Lead and work independently with other tradespeople to achieve project goals
  • Reassemble and test equipment following repairs
  • Provide on-site hydraulic support to our clients, including Bluescope Steel and other local businesses

Requirements:
  • Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting, Turner Machinist, or Plant Mechanic with hydraulic experience
  • Experience with fixed and mobile plant applications
  • Strong understanding of accuracy and quality
  • Fault finding and experience with fixed plant and mining equipment desirable
