Hydraulic Systems Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing hydraulic engineering projects, as well as supporting project leaders and directors across various projects and disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in hydraulic engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the discipline. They will be proficient in industry standards and regulations, with a proven track record of delivering successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing technical expertise to plan, design, and execute hydraulic engineering projects
  • Supporting project leaders and directors across various projects and disciplines
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Preparing and checking technical reports, drawings, and specifications in accordance with industry standards and regulations

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles, codes, and standards
  • Mission Critical Design / Data Centre Design Experience is an added advantage
  • Successful project management experience in the MEP sector is an added advantage

Required qualifications include:

  • Associate's degree in engineering or a related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported
  • Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported
  • Knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
