Job Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team in Wollongong. In this role, you will work closely with our customers to provide domestic assistance, meal preparation, social support, and personal care. You will also assist with medication management, mobility, and therapy goals.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $29.51-$31.04 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will enjoy benefits such as superannuation, paid kilometers, discounts on food, clothing, shoes, and spa treatments, as well as free uniform and a shoe allowance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining the safety and beauty of our customers' homes
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to ensure our customers have access to healthy and nutritious food
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities to promote physical and mental wellbeing
  • Provide personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medications, assisting with mobility and therapy goals, and providing respite and emotional support
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide social support during outings
Requirements
  • You must have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential part of the role
  • You should be available to work at least 3 days a week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required
  • You will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems
