We are seeking a seasoned Private Banking Executive to lead our team of dedicated professionals. This is a unique chance to drive business growth, develop high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional service to discerning clients.

About the Role

This senior leadership position requires an experienced professional with a proven track record in private banking or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Private Bankers to achieve outstanding results and deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Business Growth: Drive business growth through strategic planning, market analysis, and effective relationship-building with high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients.
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of excellence, integrity, and collaboration within the team to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures and maintain a high level of awareness of clients' financial positions to detect risk early.
  • Performance Management: Deliver on organisational, people, culture, and performance objectives, and drive departmental performance through budgeting and planning.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading large teams of sales professionals in private banking or a related field, focusing on HNW client bases.
  • Change Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and execute change to deliver positive outcomes for people, culture, risk, and finance.
  • Lending/credit Technical Skills: Strong lending/credit technical skills, preferably with experience in both banking and wealth management.
  • Governance, Risk, and Compliance: Comprehensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance, including RG146 accreditation.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline, such as an MBA or Master's in Applied Finance.
