Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a hospital in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their pharmacy career and make a positive impact on patient care.

This full-time role offers hands-on experience across various pharmacy services, working Monday to Friday with no evenings or weekends required. You will be part of a friendly and close-knit team that values collaboration, learning, and delivering modern, patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense medication for hospital patients
  • Assist with administration tasks
  • Serve customers and discharge patients, answering any queries and OTC medication needs
  • Order, scan and deliver Imprest medication around the wards
  • Order and maintain medications for the dispensary
  • Prepare for and conduct pharmacy stocktakes
  • Assist with receipting invoices
  • Contribute to the setup and management of clinical trials
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of the PBS (Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • The ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously
  • Previous experience dispensing medication in an Australian-based community or hospital pharmacy
