**About the Role**
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and supportive team at Slade Pharmacy Windsor Gardens, located at the 480 Specialist Centre. This role supports both Icon Cancer Centre Windsor Gardens and our partner hospitals, delivering high-quality pharmacy services that directly impact patient outcomes.

Whether you're looking to build on your experience or transition from community pharmacy into a dynamic hospital and oncology setting, this role offers hands-on experience and professional growth in a multidisciplinary team that values innovation, care, and connection.

This is a full-time position, 76 hours per fortnight, operating Monday to Friday - no evenings or weekends required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and discharges
- Undertake training in aseptic compounding of cytotoxic and non-hazardous medications
- Coordinate safe and timely supply of medications and aseptic products
- Manage imprest and pharmacy inventory
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and future orders
- Enter patient-specific data into pharmacy systems
- Liaise with hospital staff and healthcare professionals
- Assist with PBS claims and patient account enquiries

**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who has the ability to work autonomously and within a team. With previous dispensary experience, you will possess high attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer service.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy dispensary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) is desirable
