About the Role

This challenging position involves leading the design and development of cutting-edge Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) technology.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FOG physics, including the Sagnac effect and associated phenomena. Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance FOG systems with exceptional reliability and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and integration.
  • Analyse test data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance FOG performance and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in FOG technology, photonics, and relevant manufacturing techniques.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the field of Fiber Optic Gyroscopes.
  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of FOG physics, including the Sagnac effect and associated phenomena.
  • In-depth knowledge of photonics, including light sources, optical fibers, couplers, modulators, and detectors relevant to FOGs.
