About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to join our team in advancing cutting-edge Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) technology. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing scale-up of our innovative FOG-based navigation systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional with a strong theoretical and practical understanding of FOG physics, photonics, and related technologies. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of FOG and related systems for outstanding performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes for FOGs, focusing on scalability to large production volumes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and integration.
  • Analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance FOG performance and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in FOG technology, photonics, and relevant manufacturing techniques.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the field of Fiber Optic Gyroscopes.
  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of FOG physics, including the Sagnac effect and associated phenomena.
  • In-depth knowledge of photonics, including light sources, optical fibers, couplers, modulators, and detectors relevant to FOGs.
  • Solid background in electro-optical systems design and integration.
  • Demonstrable experience with manufacturing processes for optical or precision electro-mechanical systems, particularly with an understanding of challenges related to large-scale production.
