Senior Construction Surveyor

Vision Surveys is seeking a skilled professional to join their Townsville team. With a new General Manager providing clear direction and a strong pipeline of secured projects, this role offers the chance to deliver meaningful work while contributing to the future shape of the team.

About the Role
  • Manage and deliver construction and engineering survey projects from setout through to QA and close-out
  • Balance fieldwork with office responsibilities to ensure accurate data and timely reporting
  • Apply Topcon office, Trimble equipment and CAD to produce 3D models, QA documentation and deliverables
  • Interpret client briefs, maintain strong client communication, and ensure outcomes are delivered on time
  • Support the GM, Survey Manager and broader Vision team with project priorities and resourcing
Requirements
  • Senior Surveyor with a construction or engineering background; cadastral experience or endorsements highly regarded
  • Skilled in Topcon office, Trimble equipment and CAD, confident in QA and 3D modelling
  • Hands-on surveyor, equally comfortable on site and in client meetings
  • Organised, commercially aware, and responsive to client needs
  • Minimum 5 years' surveying experience, able to work independently and manage projects end-to-end
  • Registration with Surveyors Board of Queensland (SBQ) is desirable
  • Must have full Australian working rights
