The Opportunity

We are seeking an Experienced Telecommunications Engineer to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. The successful candidate will provide specialist technical advice and operational support for telecommunications design, commissioning, and maintenance standards.

About the Role

In this role, you will conduct telecommunications design reviews, including network integration feasibility and site surveillance audits, as well as provide technical investigations for telecommunications network commissioning issues.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical or Electronic disciplines or relevant industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a related role with demonstrated knowledge of legislated industry requirements.
  • Well-developed technical integration skills in a telecommunications environment with good understanding of technical standards.
  • Demonstrated understanding of PDH, SDH, WDM technologies, and relevant experience in microwave radio design and installation, and optic fibre systems.
  • Experience in accurate fault investigation and event recording, adhering to company SLA's and local Operational Procedures.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build and foster good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
