A leading manufacturer of hovercrafts is seeking a highly skilled Senior Craft Assembly Specialist to oversee the assembly, fit-out and installation of propulsion systems for medium-sized marine vessels.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute vessel assembly, fit-out and mechanical system installation in accordance with engineering specifications and technical documentation.
- Lead teams of craftsmen to complete interior and exterior fit-outs to a high standard, ensuring safety integrity and performance at every stage.
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams to improve build processes, meet deadlines and resolve issues during installation and fit-out.
- Proven experience in senior craft assembly roles, with expertise in vessel assembly, fit-out and engine installation.
- Knowledge of hovercraft or similar vessel construction methods and materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, and proficiency in marine engine installation, alignment and testing.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
- Experience working on medium-sized marine vessels and familiarity with advanced construction techniques.
