Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

At NPC Media, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our IP networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, VXLAN, and VPN networks.
  • Develop and install network hardware and components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Own and manage our Network Management System (NMS), ensuring proactive monitoring and analysis of network performance and traffic.
  • Collaborate with vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.
  • Take ownership of network security, ensuring ongoing maintenance of security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control lists.
  • Manage maintenance planning and implementation to minimize service disruption.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and escalation processes to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years' experience as a Senior Network Engineer, with strong skills using a range of network products.
  • Complex network architectural design skills and experience, including integration.
  • Strong design and maintenance skills for LAN/WAN (video, data, and multimedia).
  • Strong knowledge and experience with industry benchmark network monitoring tools.
  • Strong knowledge of QOS configuration on bandwidths.
  • Demonstrable experience of network routing, switching, and integration.
  • Expert understanding of network security principles.
  • Experience using and applying ITIL incident and change management to network management.
