Project Mechanical and Piping Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Mechanical and Piping Engineer to join our team in supporting key upgrades and maintenance projects across our Victorian assets.

This is a fixed term contract for 2 years. As a Project Mechanical and Piping Engineer, you will oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, including engineering assessments, scope development, shutdown support, and asset integrity planning for both fixed equipment (such as piping, pressure vessels, and exchangers) and rotating machinery.

About You
  • Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with project experience in the oil and gas or similar industry
  • 7 plus years' experience in oil & gas, energy or heavy industry
  • RPEV registered (Mechanical)
  • Strong knowledge of pressure equipment, piping systems, and rotating machinery
  • Familiar with API, ASME, and Australian standards
  • Experienced across design, execution, and QA/QC inspection
  • Strong communicator with demonstrated ability to liaise across operations, maintenance and external stakeholders
  • Ability and willingness to travel to site regularly
