Job Summary:
This role is an opportunity for a skilled Enrolled Nurse to provide high-quality nursing and in-home care services to clients in the community. As a key member of our team, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- To engage with clients and their families to assess their needs and establish trusting relationships.
- To conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans that cater to each client's unique requirements.
- To deliver professional nursing and in-home care services, including wound care, insulin administration, and medication management.
- To address inquiries and provide detailed feedback as required.
- To ensure all client documentation is completed accurately within our systems.
- To interpret and communicate relevant policies and procedures regarding health, aged care, and disability services to carers and staff.
- To maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to aged and disability care services.
- An Enrolled Nurse (EN) with 1-2 years of experience in community nursing and current AHPRA registration.
- A Certificate III or IV in Aged/Disability Care with a minimum of 4 years' experience.
- Proven experience in aged care, disability, or mental health within a community setting.
- A strong understanding of Aged Care and Disability Standards, as well as consumer-directed care principles.
