Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced electronics repair specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing and repairing our Reverse Vending Machine hardware, including printers, power supplies, motors and LCD screens.

As a successful candidate, you will have a proven track record of electronics repair experience and a strong understanding of safety protocols. You will also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and provide training on correct handling and fault-finding procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test parts received for repair
  • Implement repair procedures and record success/failure rates
  • Analyse and report on data gathered from returned parts
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized and ESD-controlled workplace
  • Deliver training to local technicians on correct handling, fault-finding and possible field repair options
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electronics repair
  • Previous hands-on or field experience
  • Certificate III level qualification in an electronics trade or higher education qualification that relates directly to the work carried out
  • Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate preferred
  • An interest in emerging technology and environmentalism
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly
  • Prioritized approach to safety
