Job Title: Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to perform technical activities and tasks in accordance with agreed priorities and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and provide advice based on legislation, policy, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing complex communications technical activities and associated tasks working to agreed priorities and outcomes.
  • Building and sustaining positive relationships with team members and actively participating in team work and group activities.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders via technical packages, reports, written correspondence, discussions, and presentations.
  • Assessing technical packages including scoping, planning, and reviewing of packages and providing recommendations for consideration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will hold a recognised Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 3 to 5 certificate of proficiency or an Australian Defence Force issued technical trade certificate in a relevant discipline.

Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance NV1 or NV2 are also required.
