Job Title

We are seeking an exceptional leader to manage a team of engineers and drive the development of innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team of engineers, fostering growth, engagement, and collaboration
  • Ensure delivery pipelines flow predictably and sustainably, identifying and resolving blockers as needed
  • Develop and implement effective delivery systems, including informed estimates, forecasting, capacity planning, and reporting
  • Advocate for and uphold Xero engineering standards and practices, promoting excellent engineering culture

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing software delivery and/or teams using Lean-Agile techniques
  • Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices and lifecycle
  • Able to balance individual needs with business objectives
  • Proven track record of building high-performing, innovative teams that learn through failure
  • Background in software or infrastructure with basic knowledge of modern CI/CD practices
