Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counselling services to clients, focusing on mental health, alcohol and other drug issues, and disabilities.
- Develop and implement culturally sensitive case management plans, working collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care, including health promotion initiatives and events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, using electronic case file writing and data entry systems.
- Tertiary qualification in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology, or a similar field.
- Well-developed counselling skills, with experience working with Aboriginal communities.
- Integrated understanding of the historical context of Aboriginal people, with a commitment to cultural safety and respect.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, managing a caseload and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Sound interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Current Working with Children Check, WA Driver's Licence, and National Police Certificate.
