Child Protection Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to provide support and guidance to children and families in need.
- Assessing the needs of children and families, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these needs.
- Providing emotional support and guidance to children and families, helping them to manage challenging situations and make positive changes in their lives.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as teachers and healthcare workers, to ensure that children receive the best possible care and support.
- Maintaining accurate records of interactions with children and families, including notes and reports.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Social Work or equivalent field
- Registration with relevant professional body
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Possess knowledge of child protection policies and procedures
- Competent IT skills and ability to navigate electronic systems
- Able to write clear, concise and robust reports
Key Responsibilities:
