We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our Engineering and Fabrication team at Borg Manufacturing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel structures for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and welding.
- Supervise and support apprentices to ensure they receive appropriate training and development.
- Coordinate resources to complete projects within agreed timeframes, ensuring accuracy and quality of finished work.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Completed trade or post-trade qualification in steel fabrication and welding.
- Experience in steel fabrication and welding, with a strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and to work accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
