Building Surveyor Opportunity

Are you passionate about shaping safe and compliant built environments? We are seeking a Building Surveyor to lead our team in delivering high-quality building services. In this newly created role, you will drive process improvements, mentor inspectors and cadets, and conduct commercial audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of inspectors and cadets to deliver exceptional building services
  • Drive process improvements and modernize workflows across the Building Services team
  • Conduct commercial audits, essential safety measures inspections, and cladding compliance checks
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on complex building compliance matters
  • Ensure legislative compliance and excellence in service delivery
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Building Surveyor
  • Proven experience in plan checking and mandatory inspections for residential and commercial buildings
  • Strong knowledge of the Building Act 1993 and associated legislation
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex customer interactions
  • Ability to work independently and make sound, informed decisions
