About the PositionWe are seeking a full-time experienced veterinary nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in equine handling and companion animal nursing, with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Technician Degree. They will be confident in their ability to place IV catheters, set up fluids, monitor anesthetics, and perform nurse consults.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture and continuing to improve and grow our clinic. They will also have a passion for equine handling and a desire to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
About You- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Technician Degree
- 2+ years' experience in a busy practice, with well-rounded nursing skills and experience with training and mentoring other clinical staff
- Registered Veterinary Nurses are highly regarded
- Commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture and continuing to improve and grow our clinic
